Turning
the Sunflower Festival into the not-to-be-missed event of the summer
would not have been possible without the generous help and support
of our sponsors. It has been through our loyal sponsors that we
have been introduced to new sponsors, and thus the relationships
have grown. Rather than simply brand the event with the names of
our sponsors, we have tried to reinvent the wheel and provide visibility
in a more creative and exciting way. Brainstorming with large companies
has been a challenging and rewarding process.
Thomas
Pink, the epitome of classic elegance, will dress the Sunflower
staff in a rainbow of colors. They have also kindly agreed to place
a full page "Sunflower" ad in The New York Times. Thomas Pink will
also dress our host Henry Buhl, and he gets to keep his shirt!
City
New York…
the well-known downtown magazine has been a long and generous supporter
of the SoHo and TriBeca Partnerships, coming on board to support
the Sunflower Festival with advertising and contacts with their
advertisers that help our event… John McDonald, the publisher, and
his staff have generously donated free ads and made introductions
to downtown companies.
Gift
Bags… a bag that you will want to carry all summer… think pink.
The designer is the New York Observer. The paper and our
staff put our heads to gether and designed a bag that will debut
at our event. Free ads also will help us let their readers know
about our party. The Observer has always been supportive of the Soho
and TriBeca Partnerships.
eCityofStyle.com…
a precursor to style on the web, concise original content and features,
links to stylish sites. Travel begins at eCityofTravel.com…
their features include exclusive Delta Express destination guides
to Florida cities, original travel contests, destination links and
much, much more… Through their many contacts we were introduced
to Delta Express.
Delta
Express and their management has made the travel portion of
our silent auction possible. Their contacts in Fort Lauderdale and
Orlando also brought us our hotel gifts in the silent auction. Delta
Express has some new routes and wants all of you to hear about travelling
with them.
Mor
Vodka… looking not only to supply their product but also to
help furnish and brand our VIP cocktail area, they have partnered
with a furniture company to execute a setting that typifies a "Mor
Vodka Club".
Nestled in the north fork
of Long Island's Bordelaise microclimate, Castello di Borghese/Hargrave Vineyard has crafted
classically proportioned wines since 1973. Blessed with a 210 growing season and sandy lone soils, Long Island's
first estate vineyard ferments vintage after vintage of critically acclaimed wines.
Exclusive
Champagne… From the House of Pommery comes the charming Champagne
Pommery Brut Royal, a blend of tradition and sophistication
and introducing POP, the unconventional champagne served
in a personal-sized bottle with its own personalized straw. We wouldn't
be caught dead this summer after dark without our POP.
Anne
Fontaine is a member of the SoHo and TriBeCa partnerships. She
will tuck in something special to the silent auction as well as
to the goody bag. AND … We are most grateful that she will give
a cocktail party on September 11th to announce what happened to
the Knights and Ladies and the winning bidders on their "date"!
