Dance the night away to the tunes of a celebrity DJ:
Eric Tomasini is a French native, living and performing in NYC for the past 5 years. His eclectic blend of french disco and funky house, garage (vocal house) and latin-brazilian flavored beats is a definite crowd pleaser. His musical style is both innovative and accessible to set the party in a happy and dancin' mood. Venues he has played range from bars & lounges to large clubs, such as Gemini Lounge, Liquids, Spy, Chaos, Cheetah, Aria (ex-Opera), Limelight, 147 restaurant, CentroFly, Pier 61, 357 lounge, China Club, Joy. He has played in Paris for special occasions (Queens, Cabaret) and produced and performed an original music mix for the Jon Valdi Spring 2000 fashion show in Bryant Park ("the Avenue" tent) during fashion week. Recently he has djed Sephora events such as the Chaumet fragance launch with Claudia Schiffer at the Times Square store. Scheduled appearances: Centrofly VIP lounge (Tapioka room) on Friday 06/16. Cheetah main floor on Saturday 06/17 (early set). Soho magazine party at Pier 61 on Sunday 06/18

Relax in the lounge with DJ Sean Merriam:
Sean Merriam came to New York for the variety and stayed for the energy, and it's reflected in the music he plays. From a soulful groove to a foreign sway nothing is too eclectic to make it into Sean's set. A decade ago he dusted off his parents' bossa nova records and intermixed them with lounge and world music to create a quiet groove that gets the party going. Nowadays Sean is playing private parties in New York, Brazil, and Greece, not to mention the occasional set at Vanity, where he has proved that his style is one to set the mood.

Also: The Peggy Cone Jazz Trio - Entertainer, Swing Dancer and Song Stylist Peggy Cone and The Central Park Stompers are the perfect blend of 1940's nostalgia, rock n roll and high octane energy. In only a year , they have become one of the "must see" Retro Swing bands in New York City. With her own distinct style and delightful sense of humor, this sassy, singing sensation is stomping her way straight into the limelight. During the early 1990's, Ms. Cone started taking ballroom dance lessons. After experimenting with many styles of dance, she discovered her passion for the Lindy. This was the beginning of her long term relationship with dance. For over seven years, her "Gentlemen" all seasoned jazz players have included the instrumental stylings of pianist Michael Kanan, the solid sound of acoustic bassist/music director Andrew Hall and hard driving backbeats of percussionist Stefan Schatz. With authentic "Swing" arrangements by guitarist Mark McCarron and the addition of a tenor/trumpet front line. The central park stompers are moving forward with tremendous momentum.
